1144 Ocean Rd, Narragansett, RI
For Valentine’s Day, we made a reservation at Spain of Narragansett (there is also a Spain in Cranston). This was not our first time dining here – this place has been amazing and so unique each and every time we’ve been. Not only is the menu filled with Spanish fare of all kinds, but the prices are totally reasonable. We ordered three appetizers, two entrees and five drinks (because why not…); our bill was about $120. Now that’s bang for your buck! There are certainly many ways to do Spain cheaper than our bill – but we went all out.
Pictured above are two appetizer dishes we ordered. The first picture is something we get every time: the mushroom caps stuffed with shrimp, scallops& crabmeat. The second picture was an appetizer special we needed to try. I am unsure of the proper name, but it was some sort of sirloin empanada with balsamic reduction. We also ordered the clams casino, as usual (not pictured here). These apps were simply amazing, and I don’t think I will ever be able to choose between them if I had to!
For entrees, I ordered the Baked Sole stuffed with lobster, shrimp and scallop – it was a special. I was hesitant to try something new because I know what I like there (for example, the baked stuffed lobster for only $30!) However, my valentine persuaded me into trying it and it was incredible. On the other hand, he got the Chicken Spain, another special which Spain usually has and Chris orders often. Safe to say he loves it.
There was no room for dessert. However, a popular recommendation is Spain’s sangria! As pictured, we love the red. Enjoy!
